Yer I know that. Just dont do / get anything dodgy. Then you wont need another one. Just install a decent AV program

But you may not know if you have something dodgy or not, it may get past your AV, no AV stops 100% of attacks 100% of the time. Having a backup layer of security is not a bad thing.


I use Comodo.

And I want to know everything that is trying to connect from my PC, and I stop everything possible no matter how legit it is, Its also a good indicator of crap that has installed itself to run in the background for no other reason then to suck up resources and report to its masters, and that is the
"legit" crap.

That is a large part of the reason I use Comodo firewall too.

You'll be surprised how many people get carried away with trying to secure their system. They install so many programs, they clash with each other.
