| 1106342 | 2010-06-03 01:55:00 | Got a notebook here, was on a school domain, running CA and filled with viruses. It’s now running standard XP Pro SP3 fully updated, Office 2003 SP3 and NOD32. Everything is working apart from the Outlook email. Email works fine in OE. Have tried a Paradise and Orcon account, both the same result. When send-receive is clicked, it asks for a password, if a password is entered (correct or incorrect) the same thing happens. (See screenshot.) I’ve tried doing a repair-reinstall of office with no change, deleted and re-created the email account multiple times. It does work in another user account on the notebook, so if there is no resolution for this I'll create a new user account and transfer everything across. Any ideas? |

| 1106343 | 2010-06-03 02:23:00 | OK time restraints have meant I've just gone ahead and created a new user account, but if anyone has come across this before and has a resolution I'd like to hear what it was - it's good being able to fix these things rather than do something major like create a new user account. :thumbs: | wratterus (105) | ||
