1105966 2010-06-02 03:08:00 Hi There Sometimes when a CD/DVD of a software is put to run, I've seen it isn't up by itself although the 1st Boot is set to CDDrive. On a Right Click it is seldom found 'Run & Install' (seen while installing Ubuntu) but often just Open or so. If the latter is chosen at all, where do we click to run it? Thanks. namboothiri (14469)
1105967 2010-06-02 03:14:00 Setting it in the BIOS (as the bootdisk), has nothing to do with what a cd does in windows. They mean 2 different things. The first is used, if you want to do something like a clean install. To run the setup thats on the cd (in windows), you can dbl click on the setup / or install file on the CD (once you open it). Or if the CD has an autorun.inf on it, it should run once you put the CD/DVD in. If youre creating a CD, you can make an autorun.inf file (with notepad), and point it to either the setup / or the install file on the CD you've created. Then it'll run it, once you finalise it, and put it in the CD again Speedy Gonzales (78)
