1105939 2010-06-02 00:59:00 1-Day has them today for $89, my $200 zinwell has crapped out  :badpc: (I have now joined the Zinwell haters club) and I need a new one...

Anyone know if they are worth the coin? I guess I can use a SCART to component cable to connect it to the HT receiver.

Part of the reason I really liked the Zinwell was that it had component and SPDIF out, but as long as a normal SCART to component cable would work that should be OK. I see they can be bought new off trademe with a 12 month warranty for $100.

Failing that, does anyone (apsattv?) know what a decent decoder is for around $100? Or a bit more if the feature set is right. I'm after several. :)

1105940 2010-06-02 01:21:00 Just looking around on trademe, it seems to be the same decoder as the Satlink 2800 that seems to be popular. wratterus (105)
1105941 2010-06-02 01:38:00 Ah well, they were going quick and I'm pretty sure they are the same decoder as the Satlink 2800...got two of them, $189 incl freight. Seems pretty fair to me. :D wratterus (105)
1105942 2010-06-02 01:46:00 They will be the same quality as all the rest of the cheap Chinese ones (not very good) Agent_24 (57)
