Hello, has anyone come across NVidea Control Panel disappearing from Right Click menu on Desktop. I had this once before but with a clean installation of Vista64 all were back to normal. So I'm suspecting CCC not accusing! Thanks. |

Unless you used the registry option in CC, that wont be the cause |

What a coincidence, I was making heavy use of CCleaner not an hour ago. I used the registry option (among others), and Nvidia control panel is still on my right click menu. I'm on Vista 32.
I'd be looking somewhere else. |

Glary utils if you use it, is worse than CC I think. It can delete valid entries. I think that was the cause of CCC (ATI) crashing, when I went to the video tab a few mths ago. |

Yes Speedy, I cleaned the Registry too, although I was a bit wary and uncomfortable with it. So, no need to doubt Geekster, that's the reason. 'Casue, I remember my actions in the previous glitch. May be, you are lucky with the 32bit. |

Hi this points to Speedy's reference and I'm wondering if using MSCONFIG and then System Resotre would help to fix the issue. Or is it too late and this action might affect other applications handled in between the times. Thanks. |

Unless you backed up whatever in CC, I doubt system restore will fix it. Only other thing you can try is, uninstall the Nvidia drivers, then reinstall them. And dont use CC's registry option |
