| 1107465 | 2010-06-06 16:01:00 | I just installed XP and I have an issue with my Start menu. Sometimes I click the Start button, the Start menu will appear but it won't respond to the mouse. Nothing will highlight on mouse over and clicking does nothing either. It also locks up my entire taskbar as well. Only way to fix it is to click somewhere on the desktop, and try again. Never seen this before, any ideas what could be causing it? :confused: |

| 1107467 | 2010-06-06 23:54:00 | I've got a Sapphire Radeon HD5770 running with the latest AMD 10.5 drivers. Think it might be a bug? I ran memtest when I built the machine, it was fine. I've previously installed Vista and 7 to find out which one I prefer (and I still prefer XP :lol:) - I'll install Windows 7 in the future on a separate drive for DX10\11 games (I have no other reasons to get it actually) Neither the Vista or 7 had problems Anyway I don't think the system is faulty although I could retest just to make sure. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a bug with the drivers though, the 10.3 had a bug in Win7 where if I used remote desktop they'd tell me my video card didn't exist after logging back in locally. |

| 1107469 | 2010-06-07 01:52:00 | It's already enabled... | Agent_24 (57) | ||

| 1107471 | 2010-06-07 03:25:00 | Looks like it's a bug in Comodo's Defense+ From a Comodo forum post of someone with the same problem: "start menu is known, I bet you are running XP. Fix is coming next week for that. " (forums.comodo.com) Turning Defense+ off here seems to stop the start menu from acting weird, so looks like this is the problem. Guess it should be fixed soon. Thanks everyone for their suggestions |
