814218 2009-09-26 23:31:00 Anybody else tried this?
I bought it a while ago and was amused to find it will not even stick two pieces of paper together.
Utterly and completely useless.
Its a free slowing liquid.
Now I wonder if the same thing has happened to me as occurred about 45 years ago when I bought a tube of Bostik glue. Then I found to my surprise (Bostik had a good reputation) that it was useless. In that case I ended up with a replacement and a nice message from Bostik. It was part of a consignment where somebody had neglected to add one of the ingredients. It was no good of course.

814219 2009-09-27 00:28:00 I haven't tried that particular brand, but some of the stuff bought from the $2 shop seems designed to only stick skin to skin, nothing else...............try a drop between thumb and forefinger  Terry Porritt (14)
814220 2009-09-27 00:36:00 $2 shop stuff works well we actually use it at our joinery works for sticking edging back on if it comes loose gary67 (56)
814221 2009-09-27 02:09:00 Some Cyano-acrylate (Super Glue) is good, many brands are a waste of a perfectly good tube. I only use two brands now, none from the $2.00 shops any more, although a couple of the $2 batches were good. R2x1 (4628)

814224 2009-09-27 03:50:00 I use 'O' ring material to test el cheapo super glues. Loctite were the first to introduce such in the 1960s, together with O ring cord. Just a tiny drop between the ends of freshly cut rubber, bring the ends together carefully.....bingo instant adhesion with a bond stronger than the rubber..it was Loctite 404.

Much of the cheap stuff just breaks at the joint.

I actually end up with rock hard tabs of glue in the skin on both fingers, Takes a few days to wear them off.
