814050 2009-09-28 06:09:00 Right on dropping the speed limit there is about as useful as tits on a bull the speed through there is stop start to 20 kph.
Its yuppie and rich bastards central there.
If I was a Herald reporter I would tail some of the victims or use a private eye and see if the 3 who got clouted ever drive through a stop sign.
As far as lycra goes the fine should only be for men, woman are requested to wear lycra as tight as they can fit into, should be more of it.

You would have to be one of the most negative people I have ever come across. Why don't you just go away.

814052 2009-09-28 06:16:00 To me I just cant see how you could not see them (cyclist) unless you were speeding or fatigued somehow. But I guess there is some excuse. rob_on_guitar (4196)

Yep, that's about it for me! Obviously no Lotto wins coming up - my fame is done and dusted!

Of course not! :) We try to set a good example and obey the rules, stopping at red lights, compulsory stops and riding single file where it's safer to do that than ride two abreast. We're not perfect, but then there aren't too many motorists in that bucket anyway.

We're aware of our shortcomings and try to work on them each ride. However we're all independent individuals (we're not a club) so it is difficult to enforce adhering the road rules other than by berating the offenders - we have no other stick to beat the infringers with (unfortunately).

Well if that is the case, cyclists like you are few and far between, especially in wgtn.

814058 2009-09-28 07:20:00 I can tell you from experience Hamilton is horrible for cyclist and drivers, it really is a mess, and most cyclists are not your prepared types, just those who ride the modified 10 speeds from the 80s with no helmets and look like the are half drugged up on anything lol rob_on_guitar (4196)
