Lucky for you :) I don't suggest Acronis to people now. For one Win7 has a freebie for simple tasks. I suggest Norton Ghost now..

I agree - although occasionally, a chkdsk is needed to make the system boot again

1106882 2010-06-11 13:38:00 Acronis 11 works fine with W7 32bit. Just be careful to save & restore both system partitions.

March edition of PC World had a free 32 & 64 bit Paragon 10 back up and restore, works fine with W7. Just remember to select both the "System Reserved" 100meg partition and the "C" drive. For US$47 you can get an addition to Paragon which enables restoration to a different hardware. Changes the drivers on the fly. Very handy if you have installed a new Motherboard.
