She could say she was just stoned the day before this happened. Or a month. Another travesty of justice. Edit: I guess it's worse to be done for boy racing than getting drugged up and killing someone... Oh well. |

| 813200 | 2009-09-24 09:36:00 | It must be a scary being a burglar in some states of the usa knowing you could be legally shot to pieces if you are caught. But then again burglars dont have any brains to be scared do they? |

| 813201 | 2009-09-24 10:45:00 | New Zealand has a pretty sick justice system, when are they going to fit punishment to the crime like the usa? Some of the USA states do not have death penalties. A guy called Gilbert wrote these words to Sullivan's music. Strangely enough he died at age 74 much like Sir Howard today The music and the lyrics live on. Lyrics below and these are not the original. My object all sublime I shall achieve in time -- To let the punishment fit the crime, The punishment fit the crime; And make each pris'ner pent Unwillingly represent A source of innocent merriment (web.stcloudstate.edu), Of innocent merriment! All prosy dull society sinners, Who chatter and bleat and bore, Are sent to hear sermons From mystical Germans (web.stcloudstate.edu) Who preach from ten till four. The amateur tenor, whose vocal villainies All desire to shirk, Shall, during off hours, Exhibit his powers To Madame Tussaud's waxwork (web.stcloudstate.edu). The lady who dyes a chemical yellow (web.stcloudstate.edu), Or stains her grey hair blue, And gets her face lifted, Twice ere she is fifty Will end up bald as a cue. The teacher who spends a whole career With a red pen in his fist Will end up misspelled Both here and in Hell, The name on his tombstone missed. My object all sublime I shall achieve in time -- To let the punishment fit the crime, The punishment fit the crime; And make each pris'ner pent Unwillingly represent A source of innocent merriment, Of innocent merriment! Chorus His object all sublime He will achieve in time -- To let the punishment fit the crime, The punishment fit the crime; And make each pris'ner pent Unwillingly represent A source of innocent merriment, Of innocent merriment! Mikado The advertising quack who wearies With tales of countless cures, His teeth, I've enacted, Shall all be extracted By terrified amateurs. The music-hall singer attends a series Of masses and fugues and "ops (web.stcloudstate.edu)" By Bach (web.stcloudstate.edu), interwoven With Spohr (web.stcloudstate.edu) and Beethoven (web.stcloudstate.edu), At classical Monday Pops (web.stcloudstate.edu). The bureaucrat whom anyone catches, Her doom's extremely hard -- She's made to dwell In a dungeon cell Faxes coming in by the yard. And there she reads a million attachments That make her computer crash, And all of her lies Turn into flies Buzzing over the piles of trash. As it happens I have a copy of a book published in 1928 inherited from my Mother. Selected Operas (second series) by Sir W.S.Gilbert. Contains the lyrics for:- HMS Pinafore The Pirates of Penzance Iolanthe The Mikado All original words. But then it gets remodelled and it's only light opera. |

New Zealand doesn't have a sick Justice system at all, but the United States certainly does. The murder rate is much much higher, if you lived in the US you might have something to worry about. |
