| 814109 | 2009-10-16 04:14:00 | From what I have heard from other North Shore cyclists (via forums and emails), this vehicle (or one very similar) has been involved in a number of near misses of cyclists over the last few months in the same area. This time he pushed it too far, and rather than just scaring a cyclist to death, achieved the same result by actually coming into contact with one. Sick! (and not in the rapper-style, "positive" current meaning of the word) |

| 814115 | 2009-10-30 01:09:00 | If anyone is interested, watch 60 Minutes on Monday night (2 November, TV3) - three of the four guys who were involved in this crash (who are out of hospital) will be in one of the items.... I believe the item will show them talking about the impact the crash had on their lives and the anti-cyclist attitude (or is it just anti-lycra?) that seems to be so common on our roads. They also talked about the crash itself during filming, but most of this (if not all) will be cut, since it much of it is "sub judice"... |
