1107345 2010-06-06 09:07:00 Hi,
I am trying to connect my router with external hardrive connected with my ps3.
Is there any possible way other than having to bring the hard drive and plug it in to the PS3?

Also, Is there anyway I can have my ethernet wired through my house as the wifi is not able to reach the other side of my house with enough signal strength. I also have tried having to modems on one phone lines...it didn't work.

Thanks for any help.

1107347 2010-06-06 09:45:00 I don't quite understand what you are asking...do you want to stream media to your PS3 from your NAS?

And answer to your second query is Ethernet over Power(powerline) networking. Expensive, but it works.

1107348 2010-06-06 09:50:00 You can if your prepared to run the cabling if you want Ethernet. If your talking about network over power try the link Blam posted. I have never tried this but apparently it works there have been several threads about it on this forum gary67 (56)
1107349 2010-06-06 11:24:00 You could also try a signal booster for your wifi. Shouldn't be too expensive. 8ftmetalhaed (14526)

1107351 2010-06-07 01:31:00 What NAS do you have? It must support DLNA if you want to be able to stream media to the PS3 directly.

Alternatively, if you you streamed with the PC in the middle and with PS3 Media Server...
