813317 2009-09-24 05:21:00 Hey, not sure if you all know about this, but if you open a new raboplus savings account

communications.raboplus.co.nz

You get between $50 and $500. The highest amount the people I have talked to get $250. But apparently you can just fill in the form again (after sitting through the flash thing) and the amount can change. I think you can use the same email to try again. Other amounts people have settled for are $100, but they normally try again if they get something low like $50 or $75.

$250-500 would be sweet for a new upgrade...

Or does this break the forum's rules? But its legit free money!

813318 2009-09-24 05:24:00 Heard this on the radio, thought it was too good to be true, or there must be some major strings attached.

Is it really for real? I wouldn't bother with it personally, I like my money to be in NZ ( well maybe Aussie too) not Europe.

Goes off stage left to consider this.

Nicely spotted, Sweep.

Add that to the subject of a bank giving away money, add some imagination, and the right author (Stephen King?) could work up quite a good horror story...
Or going Stage Left with you, perhaps Agatha Christie might be more subtle..?

It is actually a NZ bank, and invests in the NZ rural sector, and is Government Guaranteed, and has the highest credit rating of any NZ bank. However, I am not sure if I would invest in the rural sector at the moment.

I almost feel like taking my money out of Rabobank, closing my account with them, and then setting up a new one, just to get the free money. It isn't very good if you are an existing customer.

You will get it...They had a similar promotion a few months ago, and my brother signed up, and got $50 for just opening the account.
