1108853 2010-06-10 16:59:00 Im using Office Outlook 03 on XP SP3 and until recently could always send photos but now, no matter what settings I use, the pictures are stripped out.
Very frustrating.
These are not porn etc but baby and family photos etc; Or news items from reputable websites like STUFF, Im trying to send to family members across the globe.
Could this be something in my security suite- AVG?
Please help!! people getting annoyed they cant see what I say Ive sent.

1108854 2010-06-10 19:39:00 It's possibly an outlook setting that has been changed, have you installed any new software lately? AVG is by far not the best AV and hasn't been for a long time, Microsoft security essentials is a lot better. Do you have a firewall other than the windows one? gary67 (56)

1108856 2010-06-10 22:57:00 How are the picture being sent? A common mistake made by some is where the sender embeds the picture and just sends a shortcut to the receiver. This will result in the receiver getting an email with a red X where the placeholder is. Sweep (90)

1108858 2010-06-11 03:33:00 Thanks Guys. I have checked all Outlook settings and IE8 ( about when the problem started) problem with either embedding or attaching. Not everytime but often I get this message:
I am using both AVG and MS Essentials with Win firewall turned off.
Only new program is Paragon Backup. Ive done every scan I possess and checked every menu on Outlook Windows and IE. Still suspect IE8

1108859 2010-06-11 03:38:00 You should not be running two antivirus programs. Uninstall avg or mse.

Probably not an Outlook issue then.

1108860 2010-06-11 03:50:00 Thanks Ill try that but Ive used two- or more- securities for about 13 years with no problems. Apteryx (294)
1108861 2010-06-11 04:02:00 Well you still shouldnt run 2 AV programs at the same time Speedy Gonzales (78)
