1108170 2010-06-08 10:52:00 I have a few of these that I have copied from the temp internet browser.
I usually just open them with Classic Media Player.
What is the trick to converting them to AVI or MP4

1108171 2010-06-08 10:57:00 If you use FF install a youtube addon, then get it again and save it as MP4. Then you wont have to convert it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1108172 2010-06-08 11:00:00 Yeh, I saw that on google but I already have these downloaded. Some are quite large too. Driftwood (5551)
1108173 2010-06-08 11:02:00 This will work (www.smallvideosoft.com). Its small and free Speedy Gonzales (78)
1108174 2010-06-08 11:05:00 Thanks I'll give it a go. Driftwood (5551)
1108175 2010-06-08 11:20:00 What format are they in already?
If you wanted to try using Youtube downloader, you could convert them to upload to youtube, then convert them from there to a usable format.

1108176 2010-06-08 11:25:00 Ah, if you meant the Freez iPod Video Converter, it dosent load the format.
I have renamed these with a .avi extension so they start up in CMP. That may be causing a problem. Not a big deal really, was just going to put a couple on a PSP to show someone.

1108177 2010-06-08 11:34:00 It does that's why it says it converts from flv to MP4 Speedy Gonzales (78)
1108178 2010-06-08 11:48:00 Well I guess they are not flv Driftwood (5551)
1108179 2010-06-08 12:43:00 Try handbrake. It does a pretty good job re-encoding stuff.

Try opening the files in VLC and then go to codec information, what formats does it list there?
