Read the disclaimer right under the shipping price: Disclaimer Use of this OEM System Builder Channel software is subject to the terms of the Microsoft OEM System Builder License. This software is intended for pre-installation on a new personal computer for resale. This OEM System Builder Channel software requires the assembler to provide end user support for the Windows software and cannot be transferred to another computer once it is installed. To acquire Windows software with support provided by Microsoft please see our full package "Retail" product offerings. Whats interesting is where they got their pricing from. I have been speaking to all my suppliers over the last week, and according to them, Microsoft have not advised as to how much W7 is going to cost yet in NZ. They can give pricing on Vista with W7 Upgrade, but thats all. |

| 815892 | 2009-10-01 20:01:00 | Maybe Playtech are taking a gamble on what they think the NZ price might be, so they can secure themselves a queue of excited customers. | somebody (208) | ||
| 815893 | 2009-10-01 20:02:00 | Just been on Ascent and they have it for pre order at $217, guess I just might have to buy a stick of ram or a new DVD drive. Just emailed Ascent to ask for clarification as to whether i would need to buy some hardware as well will post back once I hear from them |
