Whats interesting is where they got their pricing from.

I have been speaking to all my suppliers over the last week, and according to them, Microsoft have not advised as to how much W7 is going to cost yet in NZ.

They can give pricing on Vista with W7 Upgrade, but thats all.

815892 2009-10-01 20:01:00 Maybe Playtech are taking a gamble on what they think the NZ price might be, so they can secure themselves a queue of excited customers. somebody (208)
815893 2009-10-01 20:02:00 Just been on Ascent and they have it for pre order at $217, guess I just might have to buy a stick of ram or a new DVD drive.

Just emailed Ascent to ask for clarification as to whether i would need to buy some hardware as well will post back once I hear from them

Doesn't look to bad eh!

Mind you Ingram isn't known for being the cheapest either, but at least now I can finish off the 8 quotes for New PC's With W7 :D

Edited:

Dove have pricing Now as well I see, wasn't there wednesday. Ingram are still cheaper though.

Edited 2 -- For those who are going to ask :p Look at the sites and W7 is about in round figures $30 more then its counter part in Vista.
