I am using them, and am also annoyed about all the problems they have been having. They don't even apologise for the problems on their status page. However if lot so people leave, I assume that means that there will be less load on their systems for their existing users.

Give 2talk a look, they're very cost-effective! Great service! Independent from your ISP too... sure it means your VoIP traffic is now "counted", but still, VoIP never uses much at all.

814573 2009-09-28 09:51:00 Had a bit of an outage here, which took the phone out as well. I very seldom use Win7, but get MANY more problems with that than Xnet so I'll put up with it since between outages it is magical. Price is great and the help desk is helpful (a novel idea). I only missed one call to voicemail, and that was notified by email when service came back.
My views are seriously tempted by using a vodem a few evenings at work, makes everything else seem pretty crisp ;)
