We're doing it this way so we don't get flooded by people, such as yourself, just posting "ooh send me one to me@gmail.com". We do this for a few reasons: 1) To stop the forums from being flooded, every man and his dog wants an invite it seems, and we already get enough spam here as it is 2) What's the point of posting your email address? Nobody with an invite knows if you have already been sent one or not, so probably won't bother sending you one seeing as they're so valuable right now 3) Wave is something you should use to collaborate & communicate with others, so it makes sense to give an invite to somebody that you already at least partly know, rather than somebody you're never going to see or hear from again, and won't likely contribute anything to your Wave experience. Fair enough, yes? |
