815873 2009-10-02 01:26:00 You can watch sports with a few programs or on some sites. Only thing is, some sites the window is small, you may not see a lot. And it may lag a lot / stop and start Speedy Gonzales (78)
815874 2009-10-02 01:47:00 $15 a month extra or a one off $599 payment.

Is that full 1080P?

815875 2009-10-02 03:11:00 Formula One looks bloody fantastic in HD on Sky Sports one and two.

It is the best thing since sliced bread. :)

815876 2009-10-02 03:27:00 What is normal pctek?? There is just as much garbage on pay tv as there is on free tv.

Normal = US Sitcoms. Or NZ sitcoms. Or soaps.

I like docos, don't have movies, don't have sports.
If you can't find something at least once in the week - then you watch too much. Books are good too.

You wish. :p

Most content isn't in HD at all, but the content that is is 720p or 1080i I believe, and SD content is upscaled to either 720p or 1080i depending on what setting your decoder is on, so if you're lucky it might look slightly better than the pixelated crap that Sky viewers are now used to. Real HD content is stunning though, the F1 is a great example, even if people do just watch it for shots of Nicole (not even gonna try and spell her last name) in HD. :p Watching the rugby is also more fun, you can see people in the crowd.

815878 2009-10-02 04:01:00 Can you watch rugby games live online live? Would it be free?

Yes and yes. Whether it's legal or not I don't know.

Sorry, but F1 is not in native Hd, just upscaled. FOM is not broadcasting in high definition. Even though Sky says it is.

815881 2009-10-02 13:28:00 I gave the $33 a year link a go last year for live sports around the world online. Worked fine.
But I think they upped the price to $80 this year so I didn't renew.
