I believe they Iroquois in the Wigram museum is a genuine Vietnam Veteran, presented to us by the USA.
It is the newest one we have got. :)
The Sioux, if they still have 'em are Korea era (Think Mash.)

Looks like most of the upgrade is being done in Blenheim, which must be good.

Although I like the way the use the word Value $200 million, surely it should be Cost $200 million.

Yeah I have flown on several Iroquois we use the NZRAF down here on the big cave rescue training sessions every 3 years. Having talked extensively to the pilots and even taken one caving there is nothing original left they have all been rebuilt

Most of the work is being carried out in Canada and in Blenheim. Should be good for jobs down there though

What have you got at the end of the day a tarted up heap of old junk freight plane still.
I know from machinery best to replace it than spend money on breakdowns.
