| 815587 | 2009-09-30 11:15:00 | By coincidence, I have just been visited by a mouse. In fact, he/she has scuttled into a dark corner after realising this is not an empty room after all. I have not enquired about it's body temperature, but assume it has come inside - through one of the many mystery holes in this old house - because it's cold outside. Hence decreased body temperature..? But I don't have any drugs to offer it to test that theory - unless Jamuz can suggest a handy kitchen equivalent? And how would I get it to keep the thermometer in for long enough to get a reading? Edit: Oooops. Sorry. Just realised I have to inject it. Afraid that puts the kibosh on that idea... |

Salt on the tail is an old method ;) A 5 Kg bag of iodised salt is adequate, provided the salt is conditioned by being maintained at zero G for 0.3 of a second immediately before application to the mouse. This treatment has lowered the mouse's temperature in 100% of the cases tried to date. Due to difficulties with the domestic staff, tests on kittens were not carried out. Supplies of taggers are sought for the next stage of the trial. |

Well if you mean what you say - whack it with a spade. Did that the other week, then whacked it again. Then you could look up Wikipedia for temperature suggestions. |

Spread your medication on the bed (use a plastic sheet if you don't like mucky mattresses), lie on them, and get a woman to lie on top of you to add weight to increase absorption. She should get physical so that you raise a sweat and speed absorption so make sure she's hot. Rhythmic physical exercise is good for bad backs, it releases muscular tension. Cheers Billy 8-{) :) |
