| 814921 | 2009-09-28 23:58:00 | Hi, I'm going to get my Restricted License Test next week at AA Meadowlands and I was wondering if anyone knew the route they took for the Restricted Test... And I was also wondering what important manouvres the instructor asked you to do.. Thank You very much and awaiting replies.. There is no long term advantage to either you or other hapless (note, not "hopeless") drivers you might encounter once you get your licence via getting 'assistance' such as what route will you be taking when sitting the test. The best advice is to learn to drive properly (as mentioned by R2x1): lots of practice of three point turns, reversing, parallel parking, hill starts (less of an issue these days with many cars being auto) and stopping safely. Then you will know, when you have passed the test on your own merits, you have earned the privilege to be driving on the road and won't be putting any other road users at risk. |

This tip will be too late for your test, unfortunately, but: There's no defined route, though the tester asked me to drive along regions comprising of whitford road, kilkenny drive, dannemora road |

So dont do the things they do and you should be sweet. OH BTW -- the parking test is at the last few seconds of the video. From what I gather, that's how you have to learn to park in Auckland :lol::thumbs: |
