| 1108771 | 2010-06-10 07:20:00 | I'm looking at buying a cheap-ish netbook off trade me (sub $400 second hand). I need it to play light games (2d and low spec 3d e.g. NFS HP:2). Good battery life and not too sluggish. I'm looking at a HP Mini or a Acer Aspire One. Are they good choices? | icow (15313) | ||

I haven't tried playing games on it. Battery life varies, but I can get up to 5 hours out of it... about 4hrs with WiFi on depending on what I'm doing. | somebody (208) | ||

The specs are pretty much what i was thinking So I really want a Asus, Toshiba, Sony or Apple Netbook. Wait count Apple out they don't make them... I don't really want an eee Pc 'cause the prices for the good ones are quite high. Found this unfortunately it's outside my price range. (www.trademe.co.nz) And this (www.trademe.co.nz) |

(www.trademe.co.nz) And this (www.trademe.co.nz) That second one is well over priced. You should be able to pick up something like that for under $100. Note that it only has a 7" screen, a 630mhz processor and a tiny keyboard (I bought one of those when they first came out, back in 2008). |
