1110116 2010-06-14 07:19:00 I have a HTC touch2 windows mobile phone & Winamp won't let me transfer any music I purchased on itunes (DRM free M4a files) because it thinks the device can't play them. It works if I copy the file using windows explorer, but I prefer to use the winamp media library.

I keep Windows Media Player on my extended desktop for playing videos on my TV, so can't use that & Itunes doesn't support my phone. Is there another program out there that will work, or a way to force winamp to transfer the files?

So much better than iTunes :yuck:

I'll check it out. I think the original HTC touch didn't support AAC.

I find the itunes program incredibly frustrating, but the music store blows the competition out of the water.

1110119 2010-06-15 09:13:00 There's a few ways around it, such as using an alternative application on your WMPhone, or otherwise I believe (going from memory - I've not had a WM phone in a while now) that you're able to get WinAmp to transcode the music as it copies it. I could be wrong though ... Chilling_Silence (9)
