1109242 2010-06-11 11:36:00 I received my new 24 port Gigabit managed switch today. It was set up with a static IP which I changed to DHCP.

It's all working fine except I cant find the new IP address to continue configuring it. The DCHP table of my router has all my PC's showing as well as 1 unnamed entry. I've tried using the IP address of this unnamed entry with no luck.

Is there a way to find the IP address of the switch so I can continue configuring it?

1109247 2010-06-11 11:56:00 Check your DHCP Server for active ip addresses? nedkelly (9059)
1109248 2010-06-11 12:02:00 I tried every IP in my DHCP servers table but none seemed to work.
I've gone back to jut configuring with a static IP, just means I have to configure my PC for static IP every time I need to change any settings.

? If the static IP address is in the normal range of addresses of your subnet, you should not have to do any changes - just bookmark the chosen IP address (assuming you are using a browser to access it)
