817438 2009-10-06 06:58:00 So I'm moving to W7 Enterprise x64. Anything I should be aware of?

I assume W7E is the same is exactly like W7U with all the frills?

Any major incompatibilities I should be aware of with W7 or x64 or both?

Thanks.

817439 2009-10-06 07:03:00 I would say it'll be similar to Vista x64. The drivers have to be 64 bit. Or it'll complain / whatever wont work Speedy Gonzales (78)

AFAIK both are exactly the same in terms of features, except Enterprise is not available to home users.

You shouldn't really have any program compatibility issues.....and you've always got XP Mode to fall back on;)

Also, some devices may not work, due to lack of 64bit driver support..
