817179 2009-10-05 20:09:00 Anyone had any experience setting up a Quansheng TG-UV or could point me to a NZ forum that may be able to help.
I'm trying to use 1 frequency in the 150MHz range but can't seem to trip the repeater.

Maybe you should be trying 27 Mhz?

817181 2009-10-05 22:09:00 Hello again, you seem to reply to all my strange questions.
Ah, why should I use 27 Mhz for a 2 Meter repeater.

817184 2009-10-06 00:47:00 Thanks for that guys, I have the relevant frequency, offset & PL Tone.
It's getting the TG-UV to use it. I had a Kenwood TH-22A setup for this but it died. The TG-UV is the replacement. I only wanted a cheapy, it's only for back up.
The local tech's are not very helpful if you havent bought the gear off them.
