He stated that clearly. And Battlenetter, although you argue the point, you actually stated it yourself "ATI contracted 3rd parties to manufacture ......". But enough of the semantics. To the OP - smithinator - the 5770 is a good choice. However, if you do plan on doing anything with Linux (just putting it out there) you'll get better driver support and performance at the moment with Nvidia. I have a GTX260 OC and I've found it to be an excellent card. If you're solely Windows though - the 5770 looks better ATM. |
