2009-10-07 02:47:00 | The anti-spyware results seem a little strange. Why didn't Malwarebytes remove MORE infections from the drive with Avast on it and less for the one with NOD32 on it rather than the other way around. | FoxyMX (5) | |

I'm assuming the difference with Malware bytes / Spybot is because the Antivirus took out objects while doing its scan. |

2009-10-07 02:59:00 | The only reason I can see is what I posted earlier on. Yes, but it seems strange that Avast did so poorly in removing viruses yet managed to find more spyware than NOD32 did. It's a very disappointing result for Avast, anyway. I wonder how AVG would have fared?

2009-10-07 03:44:00 | These are the Scan Results (www.imagef1.net.nz) on the drive that had Avast - the 44 it missed, that Nod32 found. Not surprisingly limewire was installed...

2009-10-07 04:21:00 | keep this in mind - Nod32 found 48, MSE 31 on the original drives. Heres whats happened - loaded up the drive with Nod32 - put all the infected files back out of quarantine- this is the 48 previously mentioned. Uninstalled nod32. Cloned /Made a master drive. Cloned that - Drive 1 - re run Nod32 49 this time after an update. Cloned the master Drive 2 Now for the Antivirus thats claimed by all the magazines to be the best in the world -- Installed, full update. :banana DRUM ROLL Please :banana The results (www.imagef1.net.nz) wa wa wa wa wa Raspppppppppppp. The PC was slow as wet week. Uninstalled the above "best" rerunning Nod32, already up to 27 after 40 %
