| 816516 | 2009-10-04 00:29:00 | www.speedtest.net Auckland Uni, done a while ago :p Not how that translate into. When I was at Otago uni in my own room, senior flats, had uni LAN access. Download accelerator had a speed of 1,000kb/sec. 500MB in 30mins I recall. |

| 816518 | 2009-10-04 07:40:00 | It's the data cap, or lack thereof.Who the heck needs more than 10 M/bytes per month? Only leechers I suspect. Stuff them. I have a 10GB cap, but never exceeded 7 gigs, and am almost always using the Internet. | Greg (193) | ||

You're not doing it right. Last night I downloaded (from memory) about 15Gb, no P2P or anything like that, mostly just youtube, archive.org and dreamspark (dreamspark.com). All legit. |

I have a 10GB cap, but never exceeded 7 gigs, and am almost always using the Internet. I usually go through around 11-12GB per month, no P2P, and trying to be conservative. A lot of that is VPN traffic, software updates, streaming audio, etc etc. These days it's insanely easy to gobble a whole lot of data without doing anything illegal. |
