2010-06-13 05:24:00 | Maybe not, try this www.mydigitallife.info Hey, thanks for that link. So what exactly installs LSPs? How do I go about re-installing them once they have been removed/reset? This fix looks pretty intense, I'm in the middle of exams at the moment so I think I will lay off doing any drastic fix attempts until those are over. I'll be done with exams next Friday so I'll try this out then and report back with what happens. But yeah, if anyone has any ideas as to simpler fixes/causes that wouldn't take too much time out of my study to investigate, keep firing away.

2010-06-13 09:22:00 | Deleted history, cache and cookies, problem still persists. Its looking like this problem is system related, but I didn't install anything or run any programs so something must have occured in the background without my knowledge.

2010-06-13 09:32:00 | Have you tried to do a route trace to see where its getting dropped. I had a similar problem when I used Vodafone Wireless their explanation was the signal was being switched between servers as I lived right between two they were switching back and forwards between each other and dumping me in the process.I switched to cable end of problem.

2010-06-13 09:51:00 | How do I do a Route Trace? I'm on a wired Telecom Broadband connection so I'm not sure if our problems are related. On that note, what's the chance of this being ISP related? Anyone on Telecom experiencing any wierd issues lately? (I'm guessing not and that it's just me) It's really wierd because sometimes if I refresh enough, the webpages not working will load. Then there's the websites that haven't given me any problems whatsoever like PressF1 :). It's really random...

2010-06-13 12:08:00 | Ok found out how to do a route trace. Here is my result: C:\Users\XXXX>tracert trademe.co.nz Tracing route to trademe.co.nz [202.162.72.2] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms mygateway1.ar7 [10.1.1.1] 2 53 ms 60 ms 62 ms 219-89-160-1.jetstart.xtra.co.nz [219.89.160.1] 3 * * * Request timed out. 4 41 ms 43 ms 41 ms ae4-20.akcr10.globalgateway.net.nz [202.50.238.49] 5 52 ms 50 ms 67 ms g0-1-0.tkcr3.globalgateway.net.nz [210.55.202.50] 6 57 ms mygateway1.ar7 [10.1.1.1] reports: Destination protocol unreachable. Trace complete. Obviously something is wrong at step 3. Either I'm doing something wrong, or this is the root of the problem. I get the same result no matter what website I try, whether it's one that works for me or not (Trademe is working for me).

2010-06-13 16:05:00 | When I had my problem I went to the icon in the notification area right clicked, network and sharing center, view status, diagnose I got more help here than right clicking and going to diagnose and repair in the notification area. Your problem might be ISP related

2010-06-13 21:24:00 | When I had my problem I went to the icon in the notification area right clicked, network and sharing center, view status, diagnose I got more help here than right clicking and going to diagnose and repair in the notification area. Your problem might be ISP related Ok, I tried that. I'm only given the option of "view status" for my Local Area Connection. When I diagnosed, Windows found no problems, in contrast to when I simply did right-click on icon>diagnose and repair where Windows did acknowledge there was some sort of problem but could not repair it. I'm assuming these two diagnoses were looking at different things. Is there anyone who is able to decipher what is happening with my previously posted route trace?
