1109569 2010-06-12 21:25:00 Yet another problem after tec. loaded my computer with Anti SpyWear Free Edition. Also has AVG AntiVirus and Windows Defender.

A further problem is somedays which is now becoming most days I get the blue screen c060021

.

There is no such error, what does it say exactly? It should start with 0x something.

Windows Defender is one of the most useless programs ever, it finds nothing.
I'd use Spybot in addition to your Superantispyware, if that is what he has installed.
Or if Superantispyware is a problem, use Malware Bytes with Spybot.

And if your tech can't sort this for you, fire him and get a better tech.

1109571 2010-06-13 04:01:00 Microsoft Sercurity Essentials & Avast are good. you could try them. you may have a virus goodiesguy (15316)
1109572 2010-06-13 04:04:00 only have one anti-virus installed though. having more than 1 installed will cause problems.

i would recommend the Microsoft AV rather than Avast

STOP 0xC000021A error . This error may have several causes . Among them are the following:

* Mismatched system files have been installed .
* A Service Pack installation has failed .
* A backup program that is used to restore a hard disk did not correctly restore files that may have been in use .
* An incompatible third-party program has been installed .

Hmmmmmmm . Is this thing Superantispyware or something dodgy with a similar name?

I just want to throw this thing down the nearest bank!!.:badpc:

its superantispyware , not superantispywear

no offence but its a bit irritating spelling it wrong because it could be a rogue program pretending to be something else
