I'm going back a few years, but remember receiving the (very) occasional cheque in the mail for $10 or so. And that was without checking the winning numbers myself - or doing anything with the few small-denomination bonds I have.

Mind you, that was before they were taken over by ANZ. Maybe the system has changed..?

P.S. If so, perhaps I should look for mine. They're also about 30 years old & have brought me nothing for so many years that I'd almost forgotten their existence.
Yes they still notify you by mail of your winnings. See the ad on TV.

Good point. I thought they picked up any change of address from the form you complete when you move.

Once I won $25. Not a bad return on the $5 bond I have. I constantly live in hope!:D I had forgotten all about my 'investment' too, but like Reader's Digest they tracked me down.

817283 2009-10-06 17:49:00 I have moved about 6 times since then, and have never advised them. So I'm still living in hope that my $2 bonus bonds will be worth checking at ANZ !

And Cicero, I'll need you pin number, drivers licence, passport and a deposit of $16,000 to my Nigerian bank account before I can process your winnings.
