| 816034 | 2009-10-02 06:25:00 | I work in Symonds Street not far from Grafton Bridge and by have they really fracked up this part of town. They have with a cost of about $20 mil completely screwed up a perfectly good 3 lanes in each direction road and made it a congested one general vehicle lane and a couple of humungus bus lanes. Try turning in or out of a side road or driveway now . damn near impossible especially in the afternoon. No doubt the Auckland City tax collectors will be out with their $6000 video cameras videoing the poor people trying to turn left out of a driveways to give them a $200 fine for driving in a bus lane.... And don't get me started on the closure of Grafton bridge and a few buses a day using it.. |

| 816039 | 2009-10-07 10:06:00 | Just an update, the bridge is open to private vehicles from 7pm to 7am. Be-warned: There are Auckland City Council staff monitoring the bridge from time to time. | Renmoo (66) | ||

I thought they had repaired the bridge, if the buses are going to start going "through" the bridge it will be really busted. Much better to ensure they go across, or via the bridge. ;) |
