Maybe the politicians should join the thugs then to get some idea of how they have screwed up the justice system and helped the judges let people off with a slap with a wet bus ticket. But since I don't understand the government maybe giving thugs a pat on the back is all right

816004 2009-10-02 22:59:00 A small thing I might mention is whatever happened to the likes of sentences for the likes of Perjury or Contempt of Court.

At one time in NZ the Court could fine you for wearing a hat in Court.

Moaning about sentences could well be held as contempt as well.

I have not yet come across a case where a person has been charged and convicted of perjury which is actually telling untruths in court.

816005 2009-10-02 23:34:00 Lucky for us then we have a thing called free speech if the dumb judge gives a patsy sentence we can say what we like about the sentence and the dumb judge.
The scum crooks aren't scared of the judges why should law abiding citizens be scared of them.
In fact I hold the judges of NZ except the one in Nelson in contempt what are you going to do about it judges?

I bet they're crapping themselves already knowing you're on their case. Hard to work out why the Judges are dumb for following sentencing guidelines and the law, but then appreciated you don't care a lot for following the law.

Free speech is a good thing, I'm all for people expressing opinions.

816007 2009-10-03 11:53:00 The most common jail term I know is"Why are you fellas picking on me?" although it's more of a phrase than a sentence. R2x1 (4628)

May I ask, prefect, when was the last time you actually visited a court?

And if you did, at any time, have you accused the Judge of passing a lenient sentence?

If not then why not?

You may have noticed that even PressF1 is not a democracy as such as is mentioned in the rules.
