I have no idea what motherboard is currently installed however below is the processor and pc model number. AMD Athlon XP Processor Model 2800+ Compaq Presario S5040AN And to add i have just brought a new PSU w/400w max output. I hope this information is enough to assist cos its really beginining to bother me after 2days of research lol. |

| 1110244 | 2010-06-14 09:49:00 | Most likely AGP, an obsolete slot. The best you could get is probably a 7800 AGP, which is extremely hard to come by. Best to save up for a new PC, really. |

Upgrade it for what exactly? gaming? You can't. As for the PSU, that's meaningless. A lot of cheap or generic PSUs may say it's capable of 400w but they lie. It's always best to stick with known quality brands of PSU. |
