817089 2009-10-05 07:11:00 My night for silly questions!

Before my recent crash I had a program monitoring usage on my Go Large internet connection. Since a change is in the wind, I thought I'd better check current usage because my son downloads a lot of jazz for Uni and if 10GB is going to cramp his studies I might need to go up a step..

I keep all my downloaded programs in a couple of folders on a separate drive, but can't identify this one from the rather large number I have accumulated. All I know is that the icon was a little orange cap, it was simple to use and dead reliable..

Can anybody name it or point me to the download please?

Cheers

817090 2009-10-05 07:22:00 Give Tautology Bandwidth Monitor a try, Billy :)

There is a link to it in Beeswax's signature.

817091 2009-10-05 07:23:00 What’s wrong with checking/using Xtra's usage meter??? (Especially since your on Go Large)

And you can see your past usage as well.

817093 2009-10-06 07:38:00 If you use firefox get the "Netusage" addon.

http://netusage.iau5.com/

It'll add a meter next to your address bar, telling you how much you've used up

sam m has it. TUC gets its data from Telecom so it agrees where it counts.

As stated above by sam m and PaulD, that is definitely the one that you used Billy.

For anyone who uses this program, be aware that if you update your current version to the latest (V1.70), the installer retains your Username and Password, but resets your ISP to BorderNet, so will not connect after the upgrade until you reselect your ISP.
