| 816948 | 2009-10-04 23:57:00 | Hi, my car is a 1990 Honda Accord and yesterday the driver's seat got stuck when I went to slide it back. It would only go back a little way, just emough to let me out. Now that is not a huge problem for me, but my son is BIG and needs a lot more room when he drives it. My questions are, does anyone have any idea how much it would be to get fixed, and is it a difficult thing to do? My son is mechanically challenged so getting him to do it is not an option. LL |

When you pull the level to adjust the seat position it uses this wire to pull the latch on the far side of the seat so that it can move. This wire had come loose on the far side so that latch never released when pulling the lever. It was easy to fix, just had to reconnect the wire and tie it up so that it didn't come off again. |
