2010-06-18 01:59:00 | Do you need to manually get the latest release ... why aren't they included in Windows update. Or is that only for security updates. Because if I go Custome it is not available either. | KiwiTT_NZ (233) | |
2010-06-18 02:09:00 | You have to get them manually. I think this is it (www.microsoft.com). Altho, these I think just update 9.0c. Depending on what version of Windows you've got, I think some updates for Vista enable DX 11. But, I dont think you can install DX 10 or 11 in Windows XP | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

2010-06-21 02:00:00 | Never heard of it. There havent been a lot of updates for DX lately. Only a few patches | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

The only FileHippo I know of is a site that has various downloads on it - see here (http://www.filehippo.com/). It's similar to MajorGeeks, BetaNews & the various other download sites. You're better off getting DX updates from Microsoft. |

2010-06-21 22:50:00 | its probably the developer version of DirectX which is being updated. makes no difference for playing games etc. eg DirectX End-User Redistributable 9.29.1962 (June 2010) (majorgeeks.com) | tweak'e (69) | |
