817868 2009-10-07 20:53:00 But that will leave Marlborough defenceless! It is no coincidence that since the Skyhawks have been at Woodbourne not a single invasion of the province by evil foreign powers has occurred.
We cannot risk exposing our vineyards to this peril. Get the brave lads of MOTAT down to re-activate our defences immediately, Peter Jackson's Air Forces cannot do it alone.

817869 2009-10-07 20:58:00 I heard to bring the Skyhawks back to operational status will cost 1.3 million per aircraft.

Peter Jacksons fleet are older than the Skyhawks.

No, are they. But probably better maintained.

At least Peter Jacksons planes can fly!

817872 2009-10-07 22:21:00 Metla would probably get 'em mobile for less than $1.2 million, with leather fringed seats and "Easy Rider" control columns at no extra cost.
Rally tires and a large bore exhaust would be extra, but may include a Ginsu knife set if ordered now.

817873 2009-10-07 22:26:00 They are rooted because they have been left outside, the price they will get for them will be pretty low.
Once the damp has got into the electronics and electrics ya gunna get no end of problems.

817874 2009-10-07 22:33:00 I read somewhere where water go into the cockpit and damaged some of the components in the cockpit.

817876 2009-10-07 23:13:00 Leave the water a little while and corrosion will naturally provide some drain holes where they are most needed. Can't get more natural than that. R2x1 (4628)
