| 1110661 | 2010-06-21 23:05:00 | Hi Sweep thanks for the care to help. I came to know from SpeedyG that there was an ongoing problem with my mobo due to the NVidea 340 chipset and the possible presence of their Firewall. After a close scrutinity of the PC with SG's unconditional help, I was able to install one of the 'Legacy' category Drives from NVidea. This incredibly changed the overall set up of the PC and as a result, the blockage that undermined the parition processes was completely removed. I now have the disks the way I wanted. The next pending job is BIOS updates with some stuff that I've missed. Support is still there from SG. However, none of you are excluded from helping for being part of this Forum. So please feel free to express your opinions and they are always highly appreciated. I'll keep yo updated either here or by a PM. Thanks. |

| 1110663 | 2010-06-22 03:13:00 | That's a good advice Sweep. Thanks. I'll gather all the key factors in the order and put up a 'General Knowledge' feedback on how this started and ended as 'Lived Happily Everafter' which would have been otherwise virtually impossible or time/resources consuming without this Forum! | namboothiri (14469) | ||
