818988 2009-10-10 20:56:00 What's cash? I have a little plastic card with Mastercard written on it and every month SWMBO pays the the amount used in full from her computer, no cheques or cash involved. My family is all on the other side of the globe. So I don't see any money from them either it just appears in my UK bank account very occasionally gary67 (56)

818990 2009-10-10 23:04:00 Mmmmmmm. I've been happily doing online banking for years now, I don't have chequebooks and stuff anymore, its totally online.
From my Windows PC.

Why don't these people stop scaring uneducated users and explain things properly.
Ballmer fodder? :D He has done his best to clean their accounts out long before the phishing starts ;)

818991 2009-10-11 00:55:00 Cash and cheques get banked via the ATM, thus not incurring any fees - the only bit that can't be done online.
But its also best to encourage payments to be doewn via direct credit.

Never had a problem yet.... apart from Farnell overcharging me one time
