1110800 2010-06-16 21:45:00 I'm using WIN7. For some reason when I click on a desktop shortcut icon, such as PressF1 or NZ Herald, the item appears as a small minimized screen (about 10%). I do not know what has caused this and I cannot find a way to permanently increase the minimize size to say 90%.

I have tried to keep the setting by increasing to the size I like and while it is on the screen, shutting down the computer. When I reboot and call back the shortcut it's back to 10%.

I like to be able to see some of the desktop when I am in a screen but having to upsize a small screen everytime is a real pain.

Anyone got a solution please?

It should open to the new size next time.

1110803 2010-06-17 00:24:00 1) Drag the window to the top. This will maximize the Window
2) Drag away from the top, resize to 90%
3) Drag the window to the top again.

Cheers :)

1110805 2010-06-17 01:28:00 Try this -- click start, all programs, look for the IE icon, Right click the browser Icon, properties, Set it to maximized - Open IE, right click any link on the page, choose Open In New Window . . . . don't maximize it . . . . instead, use the mouse to resize it to what you want it to be .

Now close the FIRST window you opened, and then close the new one you just resized .

All going well IE will now open in the size you dragged it to before .
