819042 2009-10-10 09:57:00 Hi all any one no where to get alloy sheet? and fine mesh sheet?

In Christchruch would be good. I had a look but a lot of shops only do big ass sheets and i only need 2 bits 150mmx345mm and round 2mm to 3mm thick.

Mesh i need would be about the same size

Thanks

819048 2009-10-17 23:15:00 For woven stainless mesh in smaller pieces (150 x 150mm) at a reasonable (ish) price try Mitre 10 in the camping section. It is packed in pairs for replacement in camp stove toasters.
Wioth very little effort it can be worked into a dome shaped fan grill that keeps an amazing amount of dust out of your 'puter

819051 2009-10-18 03:16:00 This does not mean you should stick your PC over a gas burner to make toast though. ;)

A small (but fast growing) dragon thinks putting the pc over a gas burner would be in'ersting, but it is not her PC she wants to experiment on :D
