818028 2009-10-08 04:32:00 I just realized i have NeverWinter Nights 2... As soon as I popped it in for an install... I was asked for a serial, which I assume was on the manual... I bought it a year or two ago, and I can't find the manual, anything I can do? Anyone I can call? Cato (6936)

818030 2009-10-08 04:43:00 The key is unlikely to be in the manual either.

More likely to be on the CD Sleeve.

818031 2009-10-08 04:45:00 Atari say they will not help in case of lost or stolen items. Guess I'm outta luck. :( Cato (6936)
818032 2009-10-08 04:48:00 Sweep keys are quite often in the manuals printed on the insided of the cover.

OP, you could use your iniative, afterall you have paid for it

818033 2009-10-08 05:28:00 My serial for Neverwinter nights 2 is on the inside of the case, just above where the DVD sits. the_bogan (9949)
818034 2009-10-08 05:46:00 So the key was not in the manual then but rather inside the case?

A lot of software you don't get a printed manual anymore but a PDF or similar you can print from the CD or DVD so in that case it would be difficult to stick the key on the manual I guess.

I always copy the keys / serial numbers etc to a password protected Excel spreadsheet. You don't lose the keys and it also makes it easy to copy and paste with most thus avoiding mistyping.

818035 2009-10-08 05:56:00 My Neverwinter nights 2 Storm of Zehir CD has the serial key imprinted on the inside of the manual, along with the warning "Important: this is your cd key. Do not lose it or you will be unable to re-install your product." the_bogan (9949)
818036 2009-10-08 08:34:00 I think mine is on the disk sleeve. I got mine free with my graphics card.
