1452617 2018-08-12 23:58:00 And?
Many countries have guns, not so many as the US. And nutters.

No-one died. It's rare.
Even NZ had some crazy run around and kill people with a gun a couple of times....ages ago now.

The Manchester shooting was apparently initially murder motivated.

It doesn't excuse it, but it doesn't fall into the category of so many senseless mindless and frequent acts of violence that plague too many US cities.

1452619 2018-08-13 01:22:00 The answer actually is more guns so good people can kill bad people when they start shooting. I applaud the the American Constitution with its right to be armed and I applaud with bells on the states in the USA that have a right to to not back off with crooks. Imagine in NZ if Indian trained dairy owners could could legally use a pistol to shoot crooks robbing their dairys. prefect (6291)

I'd be buying a dairy.
In South Auckland.
And wait for my OBE.

It's NOT A SHOOTING! It's some idiots with CO2 powered BB guns, not even shotguns!

Nobody died - prolly not even any blood was lost.

Yeah yah! I don't wish anyone ill - certainly not death for being stupid - but a thief was to be executed under the Judea-Christian policy - and yet, the jails are full of murders, rapists and kid-abusers.

None of these situations can exist under any government that says it follows those Judea-Christian edicts...... and yet there they are, living until they drop dead at 101 years old, in perfect health and on the backs of the working stiffs.

Makes a person ALMOST see red. Almost.

In a much better world, guns would not even be necessary since everyone would actually be nice to each other.

I can see where some people are incensed by this condition - it may not be the best solution - may not even be a solution at all........ ahem!

Talking to Pro-Gun people, they all say that an armed society is a polite society. Some politeness would be nice for a change.

Me? I'm watching this circus where Good is Bad and Bad is Good.

I read it Joe . BB guns can kill . A policeman was killed by one here a few years ago . He was placing a tracking device on a drug dealers car in the dark when he was shot and killed .

1452624 2018-08-13 06:01:00 According to Google: Firearms were used to kill 13,286 people in the U.S. in 2015, excluding suicide.

Motor Vehicles on the other hand killed 35,485 the same year.

Looks like they’re going to have to ban Motor Vehicles!

In the case you speak of Ken the Policeman was shot at very close range with a high powered “Slug Gun” which is a lot different to a “BB Gun”.
