1451374 2018-07-09 04:53:00 I should have known better but I allowed my Grandson to install one of his games in my Windows 7 Ult 64 bit PC. When he had left to persecute his parents, I uninstalled the game. Ever since, I can only boot W7 after using F8 to disable driver signature enforcement. When booted, a notice comes up to say that a driver for 'StarForce Protection' is incompatible and has been disabled. It does not name the driver so can not remove it.

I have tried:
Turning off signature reading in Group Policy.
Allowing unsigned drivers in ECBD (?)
Run CCleaner.
Scanned with Malwarebytes.

How can I delete the driver if I don't have a name?
How can I turn of the signature enforcement in W7 64 bit? (Not a problem in 32 bit W7)

I have looked on Google, and several people say that Signed drivers are mandatory in W7 64bit, but not in W10.

1451375 2018-07-09 05:25:00 Sounds like the game installed some protection software but didn't uninstall it, try reading this and see if it helps www.star-force.com dugimodo (138)
1451376 2018-07-09 05:49:00 Have you tried running system restore back to before the install ?

Also look in msconfig to see if its loading on startup.

1451377 2018-07-09 07:15:00 All sorted. Downloaded a little program called "sfdrvrem.exe" , removed it instantly :) mzee (3324)
