This part is quick and easy-- what-version-of-office-am-i-using-32-bit-or-64-bit.aspx (portal.presentationpro.com)

Transferring the mails -- That can be a PITA !!! How much mail do you have ( folders, emails etc)

The first - Try this support.microsoft.com

If they are going from one Computer to another - its do-able just a little long winded. ( hence question above)

My main issuge at the moment is that I am running a 64 bit version of Outlook 2010 . . . . . , so I cant transfer my mail from Windows Live Mail to Outlook 2010 :waughh: .

1451255 2018-07-06 22:50:00 There is one way that I have done it in the past, I'll post back later today what I did ( just on the way out to a job) , sometimes it works sometimes not. wainuitech (129)
1451256 2018-07-06 23:12:00 Forgot to ask--- is the account in WLM POP or IMAP , and who is it with ( Google, Spark, Outlook.com) ??

If its IMAP then its really simple, just enter in the details of your account into outlook, and it will automatically populate with all the mails. If its POP that's a slightly different story.

1451257 2018-07-07 00:32:00 Just hate these scenarios! Then there are the contacts as well....

Just LOVE it when people are on gmail using the browser interface.

OP, this may be useful archive.codeplex.com

All the mail has been download via pop and is stored locally on the laptop. None of the mail is on any servers.

I don't need to worry about my address book/contacts :), as I lost it 3 years ago, and have never rebuild my address book.....

Gmail is just not good when your travelling or have very s l o w internet or using a lot of free wifi!

That's why I keep all my mail on my laptop.

1451260 2018-07-08 00:15:00 You should be able to export Emails from MS Outlook 2010 64 bit
1. How many emails do you already have in Outlook 2010, I presume you have an account on there?
If too many you may need to look at archiving what you have to make room for your WLM.

2. Do you already have an Archive Folder created in Outlook 2010?

3. Have you tried creating a subfolder in WLM and then moving 2-3 emails (no attachments) into the new folder and just export that folder to Microsoft Exchange to see if it works?
Make sure you archive

4. If this works I would create another subfolder with a lot more emails and do as above.

Long winded I know but give it a go.
Note also if any attachments in an email are larger than about 20Mbytes then you will get an error message
