1453190 2018-08-30 22:10:00 Our previous plan with Vodafone had a 80 GB cap which was usually more than adequate for SWMBO & I.
However if the family stayed over with all their gadgets it would sometimes go over.
Vodafone, for some reason of their own have recently changed us to unlimited.
The cost is the same so I'm happy with that.
This month I have been flogging the hell out of it & the family has been here as well.
Last day today, so thought Id check the usage.
60 GB, go figure.

1453191 2018-08-31 00:18:00 There is only me and the other half in the house and our data usage is around 400GB per month. Mostly Nextflix, Lightbox, youtube and other forms of downloading. ronyville (10611)
1453192 2018-08-31 03:11:00 I used to manage just fine with a cap once upon a time, but you get used to unlimited and that it doesn't matter and my usage has skyrocketed over the years.
For example I leave youtube running playing music some times for hours at a time and I watch a lot of netflix.

1453193 2018-08-31 08:23:00 Unlimited data should be the norm considering the content available now. Games can be downloaded via services like Steam too, and recent titles are often in the 10s of gigabytes... Agent_24 (57)
1453194 2018-08-31 09:28:00 Have 120Gb 4G on spark as no phone line here yet and even then will only be ADSL2 so the 4G is faster, its more than enough I don't think in the year we have had it that we have ever used more than half our cap. Oh and we watch everything online as we don't have a TV until I build the new house. gary67 (56)
1453195 2018-08-31 10:19:00 I was using 10gb when son came, and went 30, 50, 80, unlimited.... piroska (17583)
