| 1451374 | 2018-07-09 04:53:00 | I should have known better but I allowed my Grandson to install one of his games in my Windows 7 Ult 64 bit PC. When he had left to persecute his parents, I uninstalled the game. Ever since, I can only boot W7 after using F8 to disable driver signature enforcement. When booted, a notice comes up to say that a driver for 'StarForce Protection' is incompatible and has been disabled. It does not name the driver so can not remove it. I have tried: Turning off signature reading in Group Policy. Allowing unsigned drivers in ECBD (?) Run CCleaner. Scanned with Malwarebytes. How can I delete the driver if I don't have a name? How can I turn of the signature enforcement in W7 64 bit? (Not a problem in 32 bit W7) I have looked on Google, and several people say that Signed drivers are mandatory in W7 64bit, but not in W10. |
